Present Simple Negative form (all verbs)
To build the present simple negative we need the auxiliary verb do/does and the particle not.
We often use short forms:
do not = don’t
does not = doesn’t
Important to understand!
The auxiliary verb "does" takes the ending -s in the third person singular (he, she, it) from the main verb. The main verb becomes an infinitive again:
he likes → he doesn’t like
she goes → she doesn't go
it rains → it doesn't rain
