The quantifiers “a little" and "a few" mean not much/many but some. "Little" and "few" mean almost none. Which word to use depends on the noun. If it is uncountable, we say “(a) little”. If the noun is countable plural, we say “(a) few”. We can also use "(a) little" without a noun, as an adverb. The exercises on this page will help you practise “a little”, “little”, “a few”, “few”.
